For the past 3 years, Aparna Foundation has been working in Varanasi on environmental awareness, proper tree plantation guidance, and community participation โ and now, with your support, we want to take it to a bigger scale.
Aparna Foundation presents a first-of-its-kind platform in Varanasi โ a fashion show built entirely around environmental awareness. This is not just an event; it's a movement that turns the ramp into a stage for change, using the reach and glamour of fashion to make sustainable living aspirational for thousands of people. We're bringing together the region's most promising models, designers, and makeup artists, alongside forward-thinking sponsors, to create one grand, high-visibility platform โ with a genuine environmental cause at its heart.

World Environment Day โ 5 June 2026 ยท Sigra, Varanasi
On World Environment Day 2026, Popular Baati Chokha Restaurant hosted this campaign right at their own premises โ turning an ordinary meal into an environmental moment for every customer who walked in. In partnership with Bharat Vikas Parishad, our 4-member volunteer team gifted a plant to every customer along with a discount food coupon, so giving back felt genuinely rewarding. Each customer also received a "Green Warrior" badge and took a signed pledge committing to plant and care for a tree.
"Organizing 'Mera Paudha Mera Saathi' together with Aparna Foundation was a truly satisfying experience. Our customers loved it, and it aligned perfectly with what we wanted our brand to stand for."

When we started Aparna Foundation, the thinking was very simple โ do something for society and the environment that doesn't remain a one-day event, but actually changes people's habits and mindset. Over the past years, we have tried to do exactly this in every corner of Varanasi โ from parks to villages.
Today, when I look back, thousands of children we turned into "Eco Warriors", the women who took their first step toward self-reliance, and the thousands of plants now on their way to becoming trees โ this is our real achievement. This journey has only just begun, and it needs you with us.
